Using a reclaimed scaffold board - sanded to a glass shine, then finished with a lyric from my favourite band

How-to Tutorial

Step 1

The hardest part of this project was the width of the board meant using the engraver on an angle, and I had to be very creative in my craft space using all sorts to prop the board to make sure it was secure.

Having lined up the first half of the lyric and engraved to a satisfactory depth, I marked the edges of the preview box with masking tpe, then moved the board to exactly line up the second half and measured the gap between the letters to make sure it all lned u, then engraved the second half with the same passes and settings as I had the first half
