Vortex Mandala
How-to
I made it as a gift for my mom. She really likes old and rustic, but at the same time unique objects. So I thought I'd make something for her with my LX1 max machine.

Step 2 CUTTING
I scaled it to the right size and the cutting could start.
Step 3 PAINTING
Start paintig with the different colored alcohol-based stains. I also got these from the local carpentry shop after choosing the colors.
Step 4 BONDING
I varnished the sheets one by one thickly and weighted them down thogether. That way, I didn't have to use glue, the drying of the varnish connected the sheets.
