How-to Tutorial
Step1: Cut the wood
To do this, I used melamine face MDF, as I had some spare that I decided to repurpose from an old cupboard. I cut them into 150mm/150mm squares, ready to engrave.
For this design you will need four if using the LP5, due to the cutting area. You will probably be able to use one larger piece with the LX2 to cut all layers in one go.

Step2: Upload the file and cut.
Upload the file onto LaserPecker Design Space, I used Android.
Preview onto the wood, ensuring the size and alignment is correct. Ensure that you hide all layers, minus the one you are cutting.
If using the LP5, adjust the size to suit your needs. I would recommend going close to the limit of the LP5 due to the intricate design.

Step3: Colour and glue
Once cut, you will need to carefully remove the internal scrap pieces. Be careful as these are delicate.
I used Posca pens to colour the butterfly, then glued the layers together using a few small drops of super glue.
