How-to Tutorial
Step 1 Putting the design on brass
I used an inexpensive brass plaque, that wwas the perfect size for cutting onto. Brass is a great material to cut on, due to it's conductivity, it doesn't bend easily and dissipates the heat. 0.4mm worked well, as it's quick to cut, and doesn't bend easily once cut.

Step 2 Adding the details
The details on the side you're cutting can be done before or after cutting. On this occasion I did it after. It will require you to preview the outline of the cutting, in order for you to align the detail on both sides.

Step 3 Cleaning and finishing
Using a selection of small files to smooth the edges, this step is crucial in making the item look great. Once the edges are smoothed, using a metal polish will remove any imperfections from the surface, and produce a high shine.
Finally, as I wanted decent quality, I used a LaserPecker necklace chain from another product I purchased from the company.
I hope this bring you or your recipient great luck in 2026.
