Valentine's Day Slate Coaster

Place the slate tablet on the laser table.

There's no need to varnish the surface, but if you want a better effect, I recommend covering the tablet with a light layer of glossy black varnish.

If you do this, be sure to engrave in a well-ventilated area and wear a respirator due to the toxic fumes released during engraving.

Prepare the image to ensure strong contrast, then invert the image and import it into the software.

If you use the image attached, don't invert.

Select the image and select Dithering Effects from the program panel.

Set the engraving parameters as shown, perform a preview to ensure the work area is centered, then launch the job.

Finally, if you like, you can varnish the tablet with a glossy clear varnish for a better effect.
