🎄 Christmas Candy Cane — 3D Illusion Laser Engraving

This project showcases a Christmas candy cane ornament engraved as a 3D illusion bas-relief, featuring double bells, a ribbon bow, and holly leaves. The focus was to achieve strong depth, clean highlights, and realistic shadows using a diode-only setup, without paint or post-processing. Despite the thin 3mm MDF, the layered grayscale engraving creates a convincing carved-metal look, with smooth transitions and crisp edges—perfect for festive décor, ornaments, or seasonal display pieces.
