How-to Tutorial
Step 1 Set up
Set up your 3mm plywood on the LaserPecker Slide Extension, using the clips provided. Ensure the position of the slide it perpendicular to the laser.
Step 2 Open the file
Once the attached .LP2 file has been downloaded, open it on LDS. Ensuring that you have the Slide Extension enabled in settings, position the file within the laser working area.
Note. Do not select to adjust the size of the design to fit the working area.
Step 3 Adjust the laser settings
Adjust the laser engraving settings. These can be adjusted depending on your preferred depth of fill.
Fill - 1K, 450nm, Pass 1, Power 100, Depth 40.
Line - Power 69, Depth 95.
Once complete, preview and run. If it is not transferred to the USB, it will take approximately 10 minutes.
Note. Ensure you wear your protective glasses. There is also lots of smoke.

Step 4 Assemble and fill
The LaserPecker at this point has now completed it's work, and all the individual parts will be perfectly cut.
Assemble the parts together. Identify the hinge inserts (inside the side hinge hole), the small round pieces with a rectangular hole, these go on the lid hinge.
Glue can be used to give a permanent joint, however, assembly and disassembly is part of the fun for the recipient.
Fill with chocolate eggs, jewellery, small toys, money, sweets...
