Step 1 Create design in LP design space or editor of your choice. I used Illustrator.
Measure the diameter of your bottle and create your graphic at that width and your height should be no more that 100 mm.

Step 2 Set up LP workspace to be in 3rd axis cylinder mode
in LP software - make sure your LP is connected
Then go to "more settings" and select "3dr axis" and the "cylinder mode"
(You should see your workspace change to a tall rectangle.)
Step 3 Import your graphic into the LP workspace
Import your graphic into the LP workspace, rotate it 90 degrees and scale it so it fits your work area indicated in the LP workspace.
Step 4 Place rubber bands on your stainless steel bottle and etch
Place rubber bands on your stainless steel bottle for good traction - and preview your work. make sure your rubber bacda are not hitting the preview bar.
Send file at:
2k - 100 power - 18 depth
***note when you place your bottle, place it the opposite direction of your design in the LP design software. if your design faces right - place your bottle with the top facing left.. This is counter intuitive, I don't know why it flips the way it does, but it just does.
