Bitcoin Brass Coin
ハウツー
I engraved this metal Bitcoin coin using the LaserPecker LP5, focusing on capturing the fine circuitry and lettering details. It’s a great project to test engraving precision on metal surfaces with a reflective finish.
This piece can be used as a decorative collectible, a custom crypto gift, or even just a practice test for fine-line engraving on coated coins or tokens.

ステップ 1
How to Do It:
The coins I'm using have a 40mm diameter, but as you can see in the settings, I scaled the design down to 36mm x 36mm.
This was intentional - I wanted the engraving to stay within the inner surface of the coin and not overlap the raised outer edge.
- Open the LaserPecker software and drag the coin design file into the workspace.
- Resize the image to 36mm x 36mm to ensure it fits neatly inside the coin's inner area.
- Apply the engraving settings as shown in the reference image.
- See the next step below.

ステップ 2 Place and align the coin properly on the base of your LaserPecker
How to do it:
1. Place the coin on the base of your LaserPecker machine.
2. In the software, click Preview to project the blue outline onto the coin.
3. Adjust the coin’s position until the blue preview lines match the inner circle of the coin — this ensures the engraving will stay within the inner area only. (That’s why the design was resized to 36mm instead of 40mm.)
4. Once it's aligned correctly, you're ready to engrave!
